Foundation of the company
NOMET Oy was founded in 1950 by Heikki Jokinen.
The company is based in Tampere, a city located centrally in southern Finland.Tampere has a long industrial history and Nomet is carrying on this tradition with great success.
Subcontractor of the year
In 2000, Nomet Oy received the subcontractor of the year award from the Finnish Association of Purchasing and Logistics.
The award marks the long-term expertise and established position of Nomet Oy among Finnish subcontracting companies.
Current facilities
In 1970, Rolate Oy purchased the company and Nomet Oy moved to its current facilities in the Vehmainen area of Tampere in 1973.
The facilities have since been expanded many times and today, after 60 years in business, the company has over 5,500m2 of production facilities.
